Nominations Open for FAOPMA Leader Award 2022

FAOPMA is launching a new award to recognise excellence in the pest management industry, with the first winner being announced at FAOPMA-Pest Summit, in Kyoto, Japan, 6-8/Nov/2022.
The award called the ‘FAOPMA Leader Award 2022’, will be given to a worthy recipient to recognise their historical contribution to the industry within the FAOPMA region.
The Aims of the award are:
- To promote the professionalism of the industry to all stakeholders and the public,
- To recognise and acknowledge excellence within the industry,
- To encourage future leaders in the industry,
- To grow the industry.
Eligibility*
Any person can be nominated for the award, as the long as it can be demonstrated that they have provided a significant contribution to the pest management industry within the region. This may cover pest control, urban pest control research, innovation, sustainability, women in pest management, etc.
Nomination and Application Process
A one A4 summarizing the achievement of the nominee is to be forwarded to the FAOPMA Office (info@faopma.com).
Submissions of Nominations
Nominations are to be sent by 30/Aug/2022.
Judging
The judging panel will consist of two members of the FAOPMA EXCO, the Chair of FAOPMA-Pest Summit Organizing Committee, a Bayer representative, and the Chief Editor of the FAOPMA Magazine.
Prize
The winner will receive complimentary registration, accommodation, and travel (up to USD$2,000) to attend FAOPMA-Pest Summit. The winner will be announced at the Gala Dinner.
*The following are ineligible; members of the current FAOPMA EXCO, current Association Presidents, the current Organizing Committee for FAOPMA-Pest Summit, Editors of the FAOPMA Magazine, the sponsor, and friends, families and employees of these groups.
